Description
(Seminar/Discussion with variable meeting hours) Radiation biology concepts are expanded on from prior knowledge and applied to clinical practice; students gain further insight into ways to exploit cellular differences in healthy cells so as to increase the likelihood of tumour eradication. Additional technical, imaging and treatment practices are examined and discussed in terms of current practice and developing technology. Students are encouraged to critically appraise literature and synthesize information related to clinical practices.
