UW Smart Planner is built and run by one University of Winnipeg student, so mail comes straight to a person rather than a support queue.

Something in the course data is wrong

This is the most useful thing you can send. Course and program information is transcribed from the university's calendar PDFs, and a single misread line can change what the planner tells every student taking that course.

Email hello@uwplanner.com. It helps a lot if you include:

• the course code, for example ANTH-2211
• what the planner shows you
• what the calendar or WebAdvisor says instead

Requirements for 71 of the 141 programs are only partly machine-readable, so gaps there are expected and reports genuinely help close them.

Questions, ideas, or something is broken

Same address: hello@uwplanner.com. If a page failed to load or behaved strangely, the browser and device you were using is usually the detail that solves it.

Your own personal information

Requests to access, correct or delete the information held about you go to privacy@uwplanner.com, and are answered within 30 days, the limit PIPEDA sets, and usually much sooner.

You may not need to write at all. Downloading your data, erasing this device, and deleting your account are all self-serve on your profile, and the privacy policy sets out what is held and why.

What this is not

UW Smart Planner is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the University of Winnipeg. It cannot register you for anything, change your record, or see your WebAdvisor account. For anything official, contact the university directly or speak to an academic advisor.
