Description

This six credit hour course is an integrated work experience in a local or national setting. Students work in a relevant organization in a supervised field experience and participate in academic seminars over the course of the semester. Students reflect on, utilize and expand their knowledge and skills in Conflict Resolution while also practicing workplace and professional writing and integrating conflict theories with practice. Students gain grant writing knowledge and may also craft a publishable Op-Ed. Interested students consult with the Director of Practicum at Menno Simons College 3-months in advance of the term in which they wish to enrol Restriction: Students may not hold credit for this course and CRS-3299.

Requisite courses

CRS-1200, CRS-2210, CRS-2211, CRS-3220, CRS-3221, permission of Menno Simons College Practicum Director, and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 [prerequisite(s)].
