Description
This course introduces students to the theory and practice of managing an organization's human resources. Topics include human resource planning, job analysis and design, recruitment and selection, onboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, employee discipline and de-selection, and labour-management influences on the employer-employee relationship. Underlying foundational concepts include employment law, diversity, and organizational strategy.
