Description

This course explores the distinctive management challenges inherent in a not-for-profit organization. Topics include mission, governance, social marketing, volunteerism, fundraising, stakeholder services, and the impact of technology. Through case studies of actual not-for-profit organizations, students develop a framework for analyzing contemporary issues in the not-for-profit sector and for making management decisions in a not-for-profit context.
