Description
This is an advanced seminar examining Christianity and visual art through sustained critical and theoretical engagement. While sharing site visits and core readings with REL 3412, this course places greater emphasis on critical theory, decolonial critique, gender analysis, and the politics of representation. Students are expected to situate artworks within broader debates in religion, art history, and cultural studies, and to produce independent, original research at an advanced level.
