Description

This course provides an introduction to the field of Teaching English as an Additional Language (TEAL). It examines the scope of TEAL; communicative competence; theories of English language teaching in relation to their linguistic, pedagogical, and socio-cultural presuppositions; and EAL instructional techniques.
