Description

This course is an introduction to the basic principles of swordplay for stage and screen. Using the stage combat rapier, the course teaches systems for safety, principles of illusion, and style/period considerations as they relate to staged swordplay. The course is considered a performance course and all stage combat skills are evaluated in the context of a dramatic scene.
