Description
The course will examine principles and problems related to our responsibilities for the world in which we live. Typical topics may include the following: the implications of ecology for ethics, our obligations to future human generations, the varieties of value which might be found in the world of nature, and tensions between ideals of liberty and justice under conditions of scarcity.
Note
This is a required course for the Environmental Studies degree.
