Description

This course explores the many forms of fitness- and exercise-focused physical activities. All material will be covered from an instructional perspective with a concentration on developmentally appropriate introduction and instruction of fitness activities to children and youth. The content will encompass the role of fitness, fitness assessment, and fitness trends, and will also cover skills related to instructional strategies when introducing fitness activities as part of an education program.
