Description
This course focuses on teaching and how it relates to physical activity and sport. Using a theory-based emphasis, students develop an understanding of pedagogy; examine its role in physical activity and sport; and consider the key individuals involved in the pedagogical process (i.e., instructors; learners). Specific attention is given to model-based instruction and its application to contemporary physical activity programs for children and youth.
