Description

This course involves a study of the principles of various modalities utilized in an athletic therapy clinic for the rehabilitation and reconditioning of sports injuries. It deals with the physiology of healing and how this process can be facilitated with the use of therapeutic modalities including ice, heat, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and lasers.

Requisite courses

KIN-3505 and a minimum grade of B in KIN-2301 and KIN-2202 or permission of the instructor [prerequisite(s)].
