Description

This course examines the physiological processes of the major effector organ system (cardiovascular, digestive, muscular, respiratory, and renal) that maintain homeostasis within the human body. Regulation of homeostasis by control systems (nervous and endocrine) is also explored. This course can be used toward the Science requirement.

Requisite courses

KIN-2204L (lab) (must be taken concurrently); BIOL-1115(3) and BIOL-1116(3) or BIOL-1112(6) or permission of the instructor [prerequisite(s)].
