Description
This course examines the theory and policy related to the regulation of markets. It examines how regulations might be set to improve the allocation and distribution of resources in the economy. In the course, the effectiveness of a number of regulations is examined. The course also examines the role and operation of public enterprises in the economy as an alternative to regulation. In addition, a brief introduction to the economics of Private Public Partnerships is presented.
