Description
This course provides an introduction to economic theory, while simultaneously emphasizing how such theory improves the understanding of issues facing developing countries. Both branches of economics (microeconomics and macroeconomics) are covered. Issues typically discussed include economic inequality, environmental economics, economic growth, financial crisis and international trade.

Students may not hold credit for this course and ECON-1102 | ECON-1103 | ECON-1104.
