Description

Under the supervision of a faculty member from the Department of Classics, students read selections from Greek or Roman works in the original Greek or Latin. Attention is given to the content and form of the words under study and to the improvement of the students' translational skills and speed. This course may be repeated when the works under study vary. Additional in-depth work is required to receive credit at the 4000 level.

Requisite courses

CLAS-2100 or CLAS-2200, and permission of the Department Chair [prerequisite(s)].
