Description

This course focuses on compounds featuring transition metal-carbon bonds. Students explore physical and bonding properties, characterization methods, and fundamental reaction mechanisms of organometallic compounds. Applications of transition metal organometallics in green chemistry are examined, e.g. homogenous catalysis for organic synthesis and industrial chemical preparation.
