Description
This course in environmental organic chemistry describes the properties, partitioning behaviour and reactivity of organic contaminants and their influence on the distribution, transport and fate of the chemical in the environment. Recent literature is used to discuss current issues in environmental chemistry, with an emphasis on long-range transport and global distribution of persistent, toxic and bioaccumulative contaminants.
