Description

This course provides students with the practical skills needed to critically analyse academic papers in operations management including organizational performance, capability, strategy, flexibility, lean management, just in time, supply chain, and sustainability topics. This course incorporates a variety of methodologies including lecture, discussion, group presentation, and a high degree of interactive participation. A series of concepts, frameworks and analytic tools are presented to better understand the management of operations. Industry applications and cases illustrate concepts and challenges, which provide students with the skills of planning and writing an academic paper in the field.
