Description
This course introduces students to the concepts related to operations management. These include basic linear programming, product and service design, layout of production systems, materials requirement management, aggregate planning, scheduling, inventory management, forecasting, and quality control; as well as quantitative techniques to problem solving.
Requisite courses
BUS-1201(3) and BUS-1202(3), both with a minimum grade of C+, [prerequisite(s)]; AND ECON-1201(3) or MATH-1301(3), either course with a minimum grade of C+ [prerequisite(s)].
