Description
This course builds on the fundamentals introduced in BUS-2819(3)/ECON-2819(3) and discusses theories and tools used for evaluating risks and returns associated with financial assets. There is an intensive study of economic theories and principles of financial management. Topics include Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), market efficiency, the cost of capital, optimal capital structure, and risk management.
