Description

This course is for performance students who seek an understanding of the problems of text analysis, stylistic control, and verse speaking involved in classical interpretation. Emphasis will be placed on intellectual understanding of the text and on the practical skills necessary to translate that understanding into an effective performance. Grading in the course is based on both written and practical assignments, and may include a public exercise.
