Description

This course gives students a basic introduction to the central role of stage management in the theatre. Intended for general Arts students wishing to get a realistic glimpse of the theatrical experience, this course uses lectures and simulations to reveal the process of mounting a show from the first rehearsal to the final curtain. In addition, labs will provide an introduction to computer applications and the preparation of organizational tools current in the profession.

Requisite courses

THFM-3802L (lab) (must be taken concurrently).

Restrictions

Students may not hold credit for this course and THFM-4802 | THFM-4832.
