Description
This course is designed to introduce actors to the core objectives and fundamental principles regarding the physical training of the actor. Through ongoing in-studio practice, lectures, and group presentations, students learn about the basic anatomy of the body, principles of efficiency in movement, training methodologies, injury prevention, and the long-term requirements of performance. Participants in this course gain a full overview of body mechanics and a solid foundation in movement principles that will directly apply to further movement studies and acting in general.
