Description

This course introduces students to Devised Theatre. it inspires and initiates the creation of original theatre work. Students explore a range of specific performance techniques and principles that provide them with concrete construction tools for creating new performance work. The course consists of readings, videos and films, discussions, practical workshops, movement-based practices, and in-class student performances. Course work involves developing a process of creating several small-scale performance projects.

Requisite courses

THFM-2101 (must be taken previously or at the same time as this course).

Cannot hold credit for this course and THFM-2003 Devised Theatre.
