Description
This course examines the relation between capitalism and the social relations, ideologies, and processes of socialization characteristic of contemporary society. Topics include work and technological change, the class structure, the state and globalization, consumerism, and the environment.
Requisite courses
SOC-1100 or SOC-1101 [prerequisite(s)].
