Method and Theory in the Study of Religion

Description

This course will introduce the problem of method in Religious Studies, discussing Religion as a field of study, its definition, development, and relation to other disciplines. The student will be introduced to various methods of studying Religion and will be guided in the practice of a method suitable to his or her own area of research.
