Description

This course provides an historical overview of the Muslim community in Canada. The rise and development of Islamic institutions, organizations, associations, and forms of leadership are examined. In addition, Islamic identity, religious lifestyle, Islamic education, and the range of challenges facing Muslims living in Canada are discussed.
