Description

This course provides students with an introduction to the study and practice of global level politics. It explores different ways that the scope and content of 'global politics' is understood theoretically, informed by the view that global politics is seen differently depending on the assumptions that are brought to bear. A range of post-Cold War global practices are considered, including globalization, global political economy, development, security, and global governance.
