Description
This course examines selected philosophical works in the Latin traditions from the time of Augustine to the end of the 14th century. Topics in moral and political philosophy, logic and metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of science, and philosophical theology may be discussed. The influence of earlier Arabic and Hebraic thinkers on subsequent Latin philosophical thought is explored.
