Description
This course is an intermediate course in the Ojibwe language. It serves as a continuation of Introductory Ojibwe (IS-1201) or as the entry-level course for fluent speakers of Ojibwe. The course focuses primarily on oral conversational skills, vocabulary and grammatical patterns. Attention is paid to Ojibwe orthography, composition and translation. The lab component provides one-on-one and small group interactions intended to enhance language acquisition and provide additional opportunities for language practice and usage.
Requisite courses
IS-1201 or permission of the instructor [prerequisite(s)]; IS-2201L (lab) (must be taken concurrently).
