Description

Students complete this course in the last semester of the program. It provides students with an opportunity to draw from their experience and understanding in the program by conducting a project on Indigenous languages (e.g., translation, documentation, curriculum development or language revitalization strategy for an Indigenous Community (on-reserve or in an urban setting)). This course is only open to students in the last year of the 3- or 4- year IL BA program.

Requisite courses

This course is a required course for the Thematic Major in Indigenous Languages. Students are required to have completed 18 credit hours from the Thematic Major or obtain permission from the instructor [prerequisite(s)].

Restrictions

Students may not hold credit for this course and IL-4001.

Experimental Course - This course is offered on a trial basis to gauge interest in the topic. Students who successfully complete this course receive credit as indicated.
