Description

This seminar addresses the interpretations and debates that have arisen in the literature on Canadian social history. Students also undertake a research project using primary sources to explore a problem of relevance to the course. Topics may be chosen from Indigenous and ethnic histories; social classes, business and labour histories; the history of the family, women, and gender relations; and cultural and intellectual history. Please see the Department for a specific course description. This course may be repeated for credit when the topic varies.
