Description
This lecture/seminar course explores the critical study of race and ethnicity in the United States. The temporal and thematic focus of the course varies, but may include: histories of Black Americans, Asian Americans, racialized diasporic/(im)migrant communities, anti-racist and liberatory social movements, histories of American slavery, ideologies of race and/or ethnicity, race and the American city.
