Description
This course focuses on a specific era, or time period, in ancient and/or classical history. The topic draws upon evidence from the ancient textual evidence, archaeology, and cultural and social history in the light of modern theory and scholarship. The focus of study varies from year to year. Information concerning these course offerings is provided by the Department. This course may be repeated for credit when the topic varies. Additional in-depth work is required to receive credit at the 4000 level.
