Description
This course examines the major monuments, architects, and theories of nineteenth and twentieth century architecture, urbanism, landscape design, and interior design. The discussion topics include the architectural responses arising from the issues of "Modernity" such as industrialization, new technologies, nationalism, and also architectural responses to concepts of nature.
