Description
This is a survey course designed to acquaint students with the foundations and development of the Canadian nation - its social, economic, and political institutions. It will emphasize the regional life and social organization of the country, the impact of war, colonialism and continentalism, the development of federalism, the rise of French-Canadian nationalism and separation, and the development of Canadian socialism.
