Description
This course is a survey of the political, social, and cultural history of Western Europe between the Black Death and the end of the religious wars; the economic and political recovery of Europe, the expansion of Europe overseas, the Reformation in religion, and the new developments in science and the arts during the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
