Description
This course surveys the history of narrative film from its earliest beginnings to the present day. Students gain an understanding of the evolving techniques and technical advancements in the art form and the corresponding aesthetic achievements of film artists. The course focuses on the major film movements and filmmakers from Europe, North America, and Asia.
