Description
This course offers a historical survey of the institution of slavery from ancient times to the twentieth century. Emphasis is placed on slavery as the basis of imperial and economic systems, the African and New World experience, and the slavery of the twentieth century.
Restrictions
Students may not hold credit for this course and HIST-3102.
