Description
This course surveys the history of German immigrants and their descendants in Canada. It focuses on the crises and conflicts of the twentieth century, in particular German Canadians' responses to the two world wars, their experiences of the Great Depression, and the effects of German mass immigration during the post-World War II economic boom.
