Description
This survey of representative poems, short stories, and dramatic texts introduces students to significant authors of German literature since the 18th century such as Schiller, Goethe, Rilke, Kafka, Frisch, and Bachmann. It also introduces them to the study of literature: how to read, discuss, and interpret literary texts.

GERM-2110 or the former GERM-2001 [prerequisite(s)].
