Description

This course introduces the principles of written translation from German into English. Students translate short authentic German-language texts from a variety of sources including newspapers, magazines, and literature. Practical exercises focus on translation difficulties relating to English vocabulary, grammar, and style. Students can expect to improve their knowledge of German grammar, vocabulary and syntax.
