Description
This course will consist of seminars examining selected topics relating to perceptions of physical and cultural environments. It will review and evaluate methods employed by geographers in the field of environmental perception. Whenever possible, students will be encouraged to apply these methods to local problems in natural hazards, mental mapping, and landscape aesthetics. This course will be of interest to students with an orientation to either physical or cultural geography.
