Description
This course discusses state-of-the-art geomatics techniques that can be applied to understanding and monitoring the Earth's surface environment, as well as other planetary surfaces. These include techniques for monitoring water quality, vegetation health, greenhouse gases, and planetary surface mapping. Lectures are supplemented by individual research projects that apply geomatics concepts to particular aspects of terrestrial and planetary monitoring.

GEOG-1205(3) or the former GEOG-1201(3) and GEOG-1202(3); or GEOG-2215(3) or GEOG-2316(3) or GEOG-3319(3) [prerequisite(s)].
