Description
This course focuses on issues and interpretations of the Canadian prairie region. Students consider the history and geography of the prairies, including the roles of Indigenous people and settler societies in creating human landscapes. Contemporary topics include modern agriculture, resource conflicts, social change, and the rural-urban divide.
