Description
Focusing on Asian, African, and Latin American countries, this course concentrates on development theories and issues. The course content includes discussion of the historical, political, socio-economic, cultural, and demographic factors important to the development equation and illustrates how these factors vary from region to region. Special attention is paid to newsworthy and unfolding issues of the day in the developing areas of the world.
