Description
The study of urban transportation systems and studies. This course explores how the North American city moves people and goods over time with a focus on the spatial impact of such actions. Specifically, this course examines the relationship between transportation infrastructure and urban land use and how this informs the social, economic, and environmental landscapes of cities. This complex relationship is further assessed through policies, planning, and a programmatic lens to assess the impact on people and place over time.
