Description
This course examines the history of the growth of the world's population and the present-day crises inherent in both the numbers and distribution of the global totals. Special attention is paid to the problems of defining such terms as "over-population" and to the lack of correlation between population, resources and technology.

GEOG-1105 or GEOG-1102 or GEOG-1103 or permission of the instructor or permission of the chair [prerequisite(s)].
