Description
This course studies the text-image relation, mainly the role of photography in literature, as well as various genres where visual image is essential. The course includes literary analysis by authors such as Roland Barthes, Hervé Guilbert and Patrick Modiano.

6 credit hours in 2000-level French Studies literature courses and permission of the Honours advisor [prerequisite(s)].
